The Apex Foundation has been quietly changing lives for decades. Behind every respite cabin, every research grant, every child who gets a week by the sea — there is a network of people who made it possible. Members, donors, volunteers, and friends who believe that an Australia where no family faces its hardest moments alone is worth working toward.

What your membership supports
The Apex Foundation operates without government funding. Everything we do — from The Shack at Shoalhaven Heads to the Copper Coast Retreats, from grants to the Children’s Cancer Institute to support for SIDS research — is made possible through the generosity of members and community donors.
As a member, you are directly contributing to:
- Respite accommodation for children who are sick, have special needs, or are facing difficult circumstances, and their families
- Grants to individuals, Apex clubs, charitable institutions, and researchers working in fields that matter
- Medical research into conditions including cancer, autism, diabetes, and more
- Community projects across Australia that address real and pressing needs
What membership looks like
The Foundation offers membership options for individuals, clubs, and corporate supporters. Individual members can join annually, for three years, or as a Gold Life Member. Club and corporate memberships are also available, offering a meaningful way for organisations to demonstrate their commitment to the community.
All members receive regular newsletters and annual reports, and are welcome to attend the Annual General Meeting held in Sydney each November.
